ONTARIO. PROVINCIAL COURT JUDGES
The Honourable Mr. Justice
G. Normand Glaude
Regional Senior Judge for North East Region
Now here is a judge worth watching in the future. Make sure you get his title and name correct.
This "provincial" judge has quite an incredible record including a stint on the Ontario Police Commission conducting hearings into less than proper acts but Ontario's boys in blue who love operating in a code of silence. Unlike most judges, Justice Glaude understands the realities of law while most of the legal profession simply pretend its their own personal stage.
Justice Glaude is bilingual, from outside the Cornwall area, experienced in criminal law, and has not been previously associated with the Cornwall situation.Glaude was appointed a provincial court judge in 1990, and in 2000, was named regional superior justice for the northeast region.
Since 2000, Glaude has served as the senior justice for the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury. He has practised criminal, family and insurance law. He was a founding member of the Pavilion Family Resource Centre for victims of domestic abuse, and a member of the Ontario Police Commission. He was appointed a provincial court judge in 1990.
If you happen to have this judge then you can thank your lucky stars that you don't have one of his subordinate judges of the North East Region like Richard Lajoie or Robert N. Fournier to name the two worst provincial judges in Ontario.
Presently he is the judge leading an inquiry into long-standing allegations of sexual abuse in Cornwall.
