Aaron Mastervick
claims to be “fully trained in collaborative law and practices almost
exclusively in the area of family law”.
OK, first you need to know that “collaborative”
means that each party hires a “collaborative lawyer” and both them will talk nicely
to each other and refrain from throwing fuel on the fire of acrimony. After the
two lawyers run up a hell of bill with each client, typically the process comes
to end when generally the father realizes that the “collaborative law” approach
was nothing more than stalling tactic and is forced to bring a real motion. At
that time, each collaborative lawyer refers their client to another lawyer who
is going to be a lawyer to litigate the matter.
What each client does not know is that the collaborative lawyer simply swaps clients with another lawyer and becomes a litigation lawyer. That is they can change hats at the wink of an eye and so does the endless revolving door of family law.
If you see someone waving a crucifix at you and
claiming to be honest and there to help you, odds are they are not.
The same thing goes for many of the lawyers who
claim to be “Collaborative Lawyers”.
If you want a lawyer, get referrals, and stay away
from anyone who calls themselves a “collaborative lawyer”.
Aaron Mastervick
recently brought an exparte motion against a father and obtained a restraining
order and sole custody to the mother without serving the father when the mother
was provided with the father’s address on several occasions. Further, Arron
Mastervick did not call the father on
his cell to even attempt to find his address to serve the father.
The material was straight out of the feminist
precedents, “I am afraid of him”, “he is bigger than me” “I fear for my safety,
and especially the safety & health of my child”
This sort of legal work brings the administration
of justice into disrepute.
Aaron Mastervick is
yet another “officer of the court” who stooped the gutter tactics to obtain an
order for custody by fraud,
Yes FRAUD, you see, Aaron Mastervick had a duty not
just to his client but to the court to make at least the resemblance of an
Effort to serve the father in order to have a “fair
hearing”.
Aaron Mastervick of Gelman & Associates 416-665-6888 effectively
obtained an order by fraud because he most probably knew
That the material he filed was full of very serious
allegations that was not supported by any corroborating evidence.
The judge who heard this EXPARTE HEARING was
Justice Sherr gave him the interim order and apparently failed to make enquiries
that would have revealed that Aaron Mastervick simply chose not to serve the
father according to the rules and obtained an order by FRAUD.
By coincidence, when the father was at the court
attempting to file documents for custody due to access denial, Aaron Mastervick
served him at the counter. Aaron Mastervick’s material for an “EXPARTE MOTION”
was heard and conveniently, the father was unable to have any of his material
filed or heard by Justice Sherr on that date.
That raises another ethical question about Aaron
Mastervick, he knew the father had material to file and made no effort to
enable the father to have that material seen by the judge on that date.
