The direct action group which flour-bombed Tony Blair is planning stunts in Birmingham, it emerged today.
Fathers 4 Justice, which made worldwide headlines when two of its members flour-bombed the Prime Minister in the House of Commons, is now targeting the city.
The news emerged as around 40 dads from the region prepared to join the group's national Father's Day demonstration in London on Friday.
"We have one or two surprises planned for Friday. Everybody knows we carry out stunts on the basis of non-violent civil disobedience," said West Midlands joint coordinator Ray Barry, a 54-year-old father-of-three from Wolverhampton.
"We are actively recruiting more and more members and plan to pull stunts around the West Midlands."
Fathers 4 Justice members have also struck by scaling the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol and Tamar Bridge in Plymouth, causing frustration for thousands of motorists.
The West Midlands branch meets on the first Sunday of every month at the Shirley Centre.
