- Career: Practised civil and criminal law. Appointed to Ontario Family Court in 1976, becoming the youngest and first-ever pregnant judge appointed to the bench. Appointed to Ontario Court of Appeal in 1992.
- Achievements: Has earned variety of awards and holds 20 honorary degrees. Chaired the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Ontario Law Reform Commission and was member of the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
- Education: Graduated from University of Toronto law school in 1970.
