neighbours heard shots fired.
One person was taken into custody a short time later.

A female student at a Surrey high school told police a man tried to get her into
his van as she was walking home from school in the area of 188 St. and 70 Ave.
on Tuesday.
According to the girl, the male driver of a burgundy mini-van with a pinstripe
along its side pulled up beside her and asked if she wanted a ride.
When she refused, she says the man got out of the van, swore at her and ordered
to her to get in. The girl fled.
She described the driver as a clean-shaven Caucasian man in his late 20s with
blue eyes and spiky, blond-tipped hair.
Clayton Heights Secondary School issued an advisory about the incident Tuesday
to all students and staff, as well as neighbouring schools.
