A new survey says more people in Vancouver use internet dating services than anywhere else in the country. There's also a surprising statistic that goes along with that. It would seem about 20% of those relationship minded people are already married! A new survey in the Vancouver Sun says about 60,000 people in the Lower Mainland have used an online dating service like Lavalife.com in the past year. That could mean up to 20,000 cheaters in the Vancouver area alone. Of those 57% are men, 43% women. The people behind AshleyMadison.com say that sounds about right. Their online dating service is specifically for people looking to cheat on their partner. Darren Morgenstern with Ashley Madison says they're not encouraging people to cheat, they're just getting like minded people together. They have almost quarter million members so far. Most are Canadian.
