Two men were to be charged this morning in Montreal court
for a stunt on the Jacques-Cartier bridge yesterday.
The two are from "Fathers 4 Justice", protesting how the Quebec courts
treat divorced fathers. 47-year-old Benoit Leroux dressed up as Robin from
Batman, and climbed up the structure on the Jacques Cartier bridge to unroll a
huge banner with "Parental Equality" written on it. He told RDI that
he hadn't been allowed to see his child in 2 years.
The man and his alleged accomplice will be charged with mischief, conspiracy and
obstruction of justice.
