A man who says a woman suggested she involve her dog and daughter in sexual acts will continue his testimony Thursday in the trial of the 38-year-old mother.

The woman is charged with two counts of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching, between 2001 and 2006. The man is charged separately.

A police interview taped last year shows the girl, now 10, telling a detective that her mother made her touch her sexually when she was five and seven years old.

When she was nine, she added, her mother made her touch her friend's penis when her then-stepfather was at work.

A publication ban on all names has been imposed to protect the identity of the child.

The 45-year-old man earlier testified it was the woman's idea to involve the dog in the sexual act. He said the mother then suggested her daughter could "try" to touch him, too.
