Police are searching for four women in their 20s wanted for repeatedly stabbing a Toronto man in the back and neck outside of his east end apartment.

The man, 34, was standing in front of his building near Midland Avenue and Danforth Road when he became involved in an altercation with the women just after 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. He was transported to Sunnybrook hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as white females in their early 20s.
