A man is dead and his wife charged with murder after police found the body of a 56-year-old man Monday in Drummond-North Elmsley Township.
Lanark OPP were called on a residence on Montgomery Rd. at about 7:15 p.m.
Police found Gerald Albert Madairie dead with obvious signs of trauma. A post mortem showed he died of foul play.
Lucey Rollande Paquette, 47, was arrested and charged with first degree murder.
Paquette was taken to Perth court and held in custody.
