Sir Elton John and David Furnish have become parents to son Zachary
Jackson Levon Furnish-John, the couple tells UsMagazine.com
exclusively.
The baby boy, who was born Dec. 25 in California via a surrogate,
weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces.
"We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment,"
John and Furnish told Us Magzine in a joint statement. "Zachary
is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy
parents."
This is the first child for John, 62, and Furnish, 48. The couple
married in 2005 after 12 years together.
A rep for the couple has stated that they intend to protect and respect
the privacy of their surrogate, and will not be discussing any details
relating to the surrogacy arrangements.

We can count on one thing, that their baby picture will surface and judging
by the very different facial characteristics, we wont have difficulty in
figuring out, who was the real biological father.
What is wrong is that there is no mother, these two men most probably will not
have any involvement of the biological mother in the child's life.
Spare a thought for the biological mother and the child who will never have the
benefit of having a real mother.

Who is the real father? The 62 year old Elton or the younger 48 year old
David?
No doubt both will make fantastic fathers but this child will be the biological
son of a woman who took money to have a child and give it away at birth.
Elton and David should let the world know what if any plans do they have for the
involvement of the biological mother as a real mother in this boy's life.
