Quebec creates new anti-corruption squad

Montreal— The Canadian Press

The Quebec government calls its new anti-corruption squad the first of its kind in Canada.

The province announced a new unit modelled on New York City's Department of Investigation.

The squad will have 189 employees – including police, prosecutors and staff devoted entirely to fighting corruption.

About half its $31.5-million budget will cover existing efforts; the new squad will take in the 101 people working on the $15-million police investigation called Operation Hammer.

The Charest government announced Hammer over a year ago, amid a flurry of corruption allegations that shocked the province; it has already yielded a number of arrests.

But that hasn't quelled widespread demands for a broader public inquiry into tales of corrupt municipal politicians, politically well-connected construction companies, and the pervasive influence of crime groups like the Mafia.

The government, which has been on the defensive, says this new effort will send the message that corruption isn't tolerated in Quebec.

It divulged some details at a news conference Friday:

– The team will include people from various organizations and departments – including the police Operation Hammer, the provincial revenue department, and the construction and building-code authorities.

– Members' job will be to root out corruption, and to investigate allegations of influence-peddling and collusion.

– The team will also include Crown prosecutors dedicated to trying these cases, specifically.

– The commissioner of the organization, as yet unnamed, will serve a five-year term and will report to the public security minister.

– The agency will include the Transport Department's existing anti-collusion unit.

A politically correct simple solution to a complex problem.

Ontario has its Corruption that likely reaches billions of dollars.

First, there is NO mental health screening for the judiciary who are chosen for political correctness over ability and suitability.

This results in some of the worst psychopaths in society and those who have extreme personality disorders and ethical problems, not to mention improper political motivations for becoming judges.

They make orders, orders for costs, For Their Friends, against those who they don't like, they power the engine of the Legal Cartel who rob Canadians of billions of dollars in a farce called Family Law that is driven by Extreme Feminist Doctrine that has essentially deprived men and children of virtually all legal rights.

The Government can halt this 100 Billion dollar farce by Legislating a Legal presumption of equal Parenting, reform of the judicial selection process , mental health screening for judges
and
A Real Watch Dog / Police for the Judiciary who are riddled with those who are least suitable to be judges and who flagrantly abuse their power on a habitual basis.

Mr. Harper and Mr. McGuinty should go down to 161 Elgin Street Ottawa and take a close look at the "worst of the worst" as he is known, the dishonourable, the corrupt Allan Sheffield and Denis Power who between them leave a trail of destruction that makes them
Ontario's worst child abusers.
