Two girls aged 3 and 5 who had been missing from the Niagara region since Friday evening have been found and are safe. Ekaterina and Anastasia Martinovs were last seen in the company of their biological mother, Julie Martinovs, 29, around 5:30 last evening, taken from their grandmother’s home. She does not have custody of her children. Officers say they were taken against their grandmothers will. Sergeant Steven Scriven with Niagara Police tells Newswatch the children were located by an officer at a family style hotel in Niagara Falls.
