Halifax Regional Police have finished a review of misogynistic comments about female dentistry students at Dalhousie University and conclude no crimes have been committed.

The police department says a team of senior investigators in the Criminal Investigation Division reviewed the material allegedly posted by male classmates of the women on a now deactivated Facebook page.

The department says it will not proceed with a criminal investigation.

Dalhousie had initially refused a police request to provide the postings based on student privacy concerns, but then indicated it would co-operate.

Dalhousie had initially refused a police request to provide the postings based on student privacy concerns, but then indicated it would co-operate.

Reports of the offensive posts and the university’s initial response prompted rallies and calls for the expulsion of the 13 students.

The fourth-year students who were part of the Facebook group have been ordered to attend classes remotely and are suspended from clinical duties, which could affect their ability to graduate.

The Facebook page at the centre of the controversy has been taken down.

But according to the CBC, members of the Class of DDS Gentlemen page on Facebook voted on which woman they’d like to have “hate” sex with and joked about using chloroform on women. The CBC said in another post, a woman is shown in a bikini with a caption that says, “Bang until stress is relieved or unconscious (girl).”

The male students concerned may not have committed any criminal offence but knew that IF their comments were ever made public that they would be in serious problems even if they were not criminal.

Their actions may not be criminal but they show incredible stupidity, a lack of empathy for women and give every other man a bad name in a society that applies a double standard.

The Ottawa Police recently arrested a Female Dentistry Student who attempted to Strangle the full time father of their children while she studied.

A detective Peter Van Der Zander Fabricated evidence that she denied
attempting to strangle him when the Video of his "interview" shows he
never asked her any such question and after expressing a concern that
she might kill him with a knife "next time" he sent her home without
charges in a police car, while removing the children from the father,
WITHOUT interviewing the victim, and, keeping the victim incarcerated
for the next night. When he did interview him, it was an exercise in
Terrorizing the father and, he refused point blank to photograph those
injuries.

If you want to see a Real Criminal, visit 464 Elgin
Street Police HQ and ask for Det. Peter Van Der Zander who was promoted
AFTER he was caught, fabricating that evidence.
