A Toronto-area woman who ordered a hit on her parents has been sentenced to life in prison with no parole for 25 years for first-degree murder and life for attempted murder.
Jennifer Pan, 28, was convicted last month of first-degree murder and attempted murder in the Nov. 8, 2010 attack that killed her mother, Bieh Ha Pan, and left her father, Hann Pan, with a serious head wound.
Her three co-accused – including her on-again, off-again boyfriend Daniel Wong – were also found guilty of the same charges.
Hann Pan wasn’t in the Newmarket, Ont., court today, but said in a written statement that though he survived the attempt on his life, he feels as if he died that day.
Prosecutors alleged Pan arranged to have her parents killed in a staged home invasion after they forbade her from seeing Wong.
If Pan had limited her murder to just one male partner, she most probably would not have been charged.
Nicole Doucet Ryan ordered a hit man to kill her husband and even when the evidence was an undercover RCMP officer, our
Supreme Court of Canada suddenly fabricated evidence that
she was a victim of abuse, and how dare the RCMP fail to consider that evidence, when there never was any credible
evidence of abuse. Its the double standard respecting evidence in Canada.
If Jennifer Pan had been in Ottawa, she could have stabbed her sleeping husband in the chest with a butchers knife and got away with it, by simply claiming she was a victim.
Jennifer Pan made one mistake, she decided to murder the wrong gender, her mother which will probably mean she can go got to
the Court of Appeal of Ontario and or the Supreme Court of Canada and use one of their "Free Passes" given automatically to the most violent women in Canada
