Actual amounts for cost penalties were given in 165 cases.In 35 cases the cost penalties were given against women. In 139 cases the cost penalties were given against men. The cases are listed in Appendixes B1 to B13

It can be concluded the average cost penalty given to men is 56.7 % higher than the average cost penalty given to women. This additional inequity in magnitude of awards is not reflected in the prevous cost figures which depict only quantity.
